Esophageal leiomyoma is the most common benign intramural tumor of esophagus. Although
its incidence is not exactly known, it is very rare (0.006%-0.1% in autopsy series). It is generally
asymptomatic and detected incidentally. Here, we present a rare case report describing coexistence
of megaloblastic anemia and esophageal leiomyoma.
